An effective, innovative methodological tool
Vigil-Vet is a comprehensive, intuitive biosecurity assessment and management tool for dairy and fish farms.
Vigil-Vet enables veterinarians to methodologically identify risk factors and vulnerabilities to infectious disease transmission with the help of personalized questionnaires. In addition, thanks to its scoring system, the software analyzes and then suggests biosecurity practices to be prioritized (decision support).
The software generates clear, structured, understandable and professional-looking reports.
Data and reports are recorded in a centralized electronic file, enabling better monitoring of biosecurity practices and rapid updating.
The software can be used online, but also offline for situations where it is difficult to access the network on the farm.

Customizable tools for creating standard procedures
Vigil-Vet offers tools for a fast, comprehensive, methodical and flexible approach to developing standardized procedures. You can even create your own procedure templates, transferable from one farm to another, to increase efficiency.
On the biosecurity side, depending on the sector, you can create procedures for vaccination, animal purchases, reintroduction of animals to the farm, visitor entry, cleaning and disinfection, parasite and insect control, and interventions and treatments.
On the welfare side in the dairy sector, you can create procedures for euthanasia, non-ambulatory (downed) animal management, shipping, calf feeding, dehorning, castration and removal of supernumerary teats.
