About us
Founded in 1994, the DSAHR company is the result of an R & D project initiated by the Québec Veterinary Practitioner Association (AMVPQ) and Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FMV).
This project started in 1989 and concluded in 1993. The project led to the development of software solutions for health record management for dairy cattle herds and to the creation of a centralized databank. In 1994, the project’s marketing rights were transferred to ASTLQ, which became DSAHR in 2002. This company was bought by the AMVPQ in 2008; the FMV then sold the intellectual property of the software to DSAHR, in 2012.
In addition to a team of veterinary experts, the DSAHR company includes an IT development team and a user support team. All these people are proudly working on several computer products for animal health management.
