The software operates by production sector, then by client, then by biosecurity plan. Each client can have several biosecurity plans.

Once downloaded, the software will include a client and a demo plan to allow you to familiarise yourself with the software’s features. This demo must not be used to produce biosecurity plans for farm owners.

Vigil-Vet operates on a “user-pays” basis. Once a biosecurity plan is created for a customer, a fee of $50 + tax will be charged for that plan.  This plan will allow you to perform a risk assessment (one module per plan) and standard procedures for a maximum period of 24 months for that specific customer. Once the 24-month limit has passed, the entire biosecurity plan will switch to “read-only” mode.
